Library
The new library complex was inaugurated in October 2007 to better serve the Academic Center's thousands of students, academic faculty members and researchers. A memorial site dedicated to Emek Hefer's fallen soldiers is slated to be erected alongside the library, in cooperation with the Regional Council. During the coming year construction of a 450-seat auditorium and a cafeteria will be completed within the well designed, innovative complex.
In addition to its classrooms and library halls, the sophisticated complex also contains a video conference room donated by Cellcom Israel Ltd., thus enabling the instruction of international study groups. The reference library is open to the public and faculty members and students may borrow books. The library contains some 30,000 titles (books, journals) as well as data bases, videotaped lectures and short films, publications by research institutes and final student projects.
Laboratories
Because the academic programs within the School of Marine Sciences and the School of Engineering have commenced operations during the past decade Ruppin's laboratory infrastructure is more advanced than that of most of the older academic institutions in these fields.
The School of Engineering's new laboratory building offers students an innovative array of laboratories tailored to the requirements of the dynamic 21st century market in fields such as computers, physics, electronics, micro processors, communications, signal processing, robotics and automation. An ERP system was introduced in collaboration with Oracle Israel through which students may already gain resource management experience in large complex organizations during the course of their studies.
Computer Center
The Computer Center includes nine advanced computer and training laboratories with over 300 stations that are available to students until midnight. Large portions of the campus are attached to a wireless network, allowing quick and open internet access to all. The computer unit support team provides comprehensive computer solutions and is available to help students and faculty throughout the day.
Student Dormitories
The main Ruppin campus provides 300 dormitory rooms, housing some 400 students (there are both single and double rooms). Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and shower/bath rooms. Auxiliary services such as laundry, parking and telephone and television connections are provided at discounted rates. The dormitories are located within the campus, a mere stone's throw from the lecture halls.

The Beit HaStudent building includes a cafeteria and office supply store as well as the offices of the Students' Association, dormitory offices and Employment Services. Social activities such as social evenings, cultural gatherings, etc. are held here. An additional modern cafeteria will be constructed during the upcoming year in the new library building.
