Prof. Tanchum Voler,
Dean |
On behalf of the academic and administrative staff of the School of Engineering, the attending students, and the family of the School's alumni, I congratulate you for your interest in our academic programs.
The School of Engineering at the Ruppin Academic Center grants its graduates a bachelor in engineering (B.Sc.) similar to other institutes of higher learning in Israel and abroad. We regularly and diligently invest significant resources in our staff and infrastructure, and we have brought the School to the highest academic level. Our curricula are diversified and are comparable in their quality to those taught in universities in Israel and abroad. No less important, the programs are dynamic, and are constantly adjusted to market and employment needs, and so they prepare the School's graduates for fast and successful integration into the industry. In order to continue this, by the School there is an industrial steering committee which includes prominent Israeli industrialists. The role of the committee is to advise and adjust the teaching subjects to future market requirements.
In order to stand in the forefront of applicable knowledge, the School operates an infrastructure of advanced laboratories in the fields of computers and electronics, industry and management. Thus, our students have at their disposal equipment and software of leading local and international firms, such as Oracle Company that donated its ERP system in order to qualify the students in the field of organization management. In addition, we believe that most graduates aspire to reach positions of leadership, and therefore we added to the curricula subjects and tools from the field of management and economics.
However, the most important things are the attention, treatment and devoted accompaniment which our students receive from the academic and administrative staff members during their studies. The School of Engineering has a unique studying environment that is comfortable, warm, supportive and challenging, and which provides a special learning experience that is characteristic of the Ruppin spirit, and which assists its students in graduating successfully and with a sense of satisfaction.
We invite you to join the hundreds of alumni and students in the School of Engineering who note their satisfaction with the curricula, academic and administrative staff and from the green and heartwarming setting of the campus.
I wish you luck in all your endeavors,
Professor Tanchum Weller
Dean
