Prof. Tanchum weller,
Dean |
The academic and administrative staff, students and alumni of the School of Engineering deeply appreciate and congratulate you for your interest in our engineering programs.
Our School of Engineering, at the Ruppin Academic Center, grants its graduates a Bachelor in Engineering (B.Sc.) degree similar to that awarded by institutes of higher engineering education in Israel and abroad. We, at the School of Engineering, have continuously and diligently invested significant resources in our staff, as well as in infrastruc ture, thus bringing our school to a very advanced academic level. We have developed diversified curricula we are proud of, comparable in contents and quality to those taught in engineering schools worldwide. These programs are continuously adjusted to meet present fast global changes in industry requirements and needs, to prepare our graduates to successfully cope with them and integrate into industry. To achieve this goal a steering committee, which includes prominent Israeli industrialists, advises the school management about our curricula and research efforts in compliance with future industrial and market requirements, as well as maintaining the school at the forefront of knowledge.
To be involved in activities pertinent to the forefront of knowledge, the school has been operating an infrastructure of state of the art advanced teaching and research laboratories in the areas of computer sciences and engineering, electronics and industrial management. We provide our students and researchers with the most modern equipment and software of local and international leading companies. For example, Oracle company, a world leader in management systems, has donated its advanced ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system to train and qualify our students in the field of organization management.
We believe that most graduates aspire to reach leadership and management positions in industry and organizations. Therefore, we have introduced management and economic topics and tools into our curricula.
However, most important and above all our academic and administrative staff are fully committed and devoted to paying our students unlimited attention and providing them with the best treatment and close personal support and assistance during their studies at our school. Thus we furnish our students with a unique, comfortable, warm, supportive and challenging learning environment, so that they become exposed to a very special learning experience. This is characteristic of the Ruppin Academic spirit, contributing and assisting our students in successfully graduating with a sense of satisfaction and contentment.
We invite you to join the hundreds of our alumni and students at the School of Engineering who strongly express their satisfaction with our curricula, academic and administrative staff, and the beautiful flourishing green surroundings of the Ruppin campus.
