Teaching - Immigration

Immigration and social integration content is integrated into a variety of study tracks offered by Ruppin Academic Center.

Graduate Studies

For the first time in Israel! The only graduate program of its kind, an M.A. in Immigration and Social Integration Studies.

Undergraduate Studies

Mediators Program - an undergraduate Business Administration program with a specialization in Immigration Studies and Cultural Mediation, geared toward members of the Ethiopian community. Students are trained as "inter-cultural mediators" and graduates receive professional certification recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. Professional training and accreditation instill knowledge, abilities and theoretical and practical tools for dealing with the social integration of immigrants in Israel in those who specialize in inter-cultural management and mediation.

Cluster of Immigration and Social Integration Courses - a cluster of courses in the Immigration and Social Integration field is open to undergraduate students in the School of Social Sciences and Management. These elective courses are offered to second and third year students. Among the courses offered in the cluster: Psychological Aspects of Immigration, Economic Aspects of Immigration, Social Aspects of Immigration and more.

Ruppin Academic Center encourages students' active involvement in the field by channeling social involvement courses (which grant academic points earned for their degree) toward immigration and absorption in the multi-cultural community.
