Dr. Lila Abbas is a pioneering Druze woman. For the past nine years, she has served as the principal of the six-year Atid Comprehensive School in Peki'in. Under her leadership, the school has achieved exceptional success. It is rare for a school from Israel's geographic and socio-economic periphery to rank among the country's top-performing schools year after year. Dr. Abbas has a remarkable ability to recognize talent in others and the determination to help both them and her achieve excellence.
