Exposing youth to academia
Unit for Social Involvement
Exposure of youth from the socio-economic periphery to the Academy
Throughout the year, Ruppin Academic Center holds activities for youth from the periphery. The activity takes place in two main channels:
Robotics / Physics / Mathematics workshops for young people, mainly Ethiopian immigrant families.
Activities within the framework of "Youth Seeking Marine Sciences" at the Michmoret Marine Campus.
In these activities, young people - through experiential methods and advanced teaching methods - learn key issues in science.
Some of the activities are short-term and some of them continue throughout the year.
Each year hundreds of students are exposed to scientific activity in these frameworks.
