Advantages of the program: High success rates on the Israeli Accountants Council’s qualifying exams – in the past five years, more than 90% of the program’s alumni have passed the exams. In 2017, the program placed third nationally on scores on the Israeli Accountants Council’s qualifying exams on advanced auditing and first on the exam on financial accounting.

About the field: The accountant is the figure that mediates between different sources – the corporation, the stockholders, the tax authorities, and other stakeholders. The heart of the accountant’s work is auditing the financial report of the company and providing a professional evaluation of the report. The role of the accountant is vital to the proper, routine functioning of capital markets in the economy.

Studies in this field provide students with in-depth knowledge, ways of thinking, and analytical tools in the subjects of accounting, auditing, taxation, and economics. Studie​s focus on the accounting standards that are accepted in Israel and international financial reporting standards (IFRS) as well as on taxes in Israel, the Israeli economy, and social responsibility.
