  • Seniority and reputation: The department has been operating since 1996 and has educated over 1,500 accounts thus far.
  • University-level tuition: The Ruppin Academic Center is a government-subsidized institution of higher education that has the same tuition fees as Israeli universities (other than the year-long college preparatory program, which like similar programs in Israel has tuition similar to that of private institutions).
  • Smoothly transition into the job market: The impressive reputation that the department has built over the years is demonstrated by the many alumni who smoothly transitioned into key positions at accounting firms and leading Israeli companies.
  • Exemption on Israeli Accountants Council’s qualifying exams: Alumni of the department are entitled to the maximum exemption on the council’s exams – 13 of 15 exams.
  • Success on Israeli Accountants Council’s qualifying exams: The percent of alumni who succeed to pass the Israeli Accountants Council’s qualifying exams is among the highest in Israel.
  • Excellence on a national scale: Alumni’s scores on the Israeli Accountants Council’s final exams are above the national average. Some alumni even received honorary mentions and a gold medal from the council for their extraordinary achievements. Our outstanding alumni include accountants Ronen Kleinman, Galit David, and Ariel Bansky. The council awards scholarships to outstanding students 
  • Outstanding faculty: The department’s faculty includes some of the leading accountants and lawyers active in the private, business, and public sectors in Israel today. Accountant Eli Pe’er, one of the outstanding and most senior lecturers in Israel, is responsible for the accounting curriculum, including the preparatory year.
  • Personal attention and supportive atmosphere: The Accounting Department is known for the personal attention it devotes to each student, its high-quality academic environment, and its extraordinary social atmosphere. The faculty and administration are responsive to each student and the needs of each individual student, while the students form a supportive social network built on strong personal connections.
  • Graduate studies: Alumni of the department who are interested in graduate studies can continue their education at institutions of higher education in Israel and abroad. The Ruppin Academic Center offers six master’s degree programs, including an MBA program that is tailored to accounting alumni. Some 60% of the alumni who choose to continue on to graduate studies select this program.​
