MA in Clinical Psychology

Place of study: The theoretical studies take place at the Ruppin Academic Center campus. The clinical, practical studies take place at hospitals, medical centers, and mental health clinics.
Who is the program for: Graduates of BA programs in psychology or graduates of behavioral sciences programs with a major in psychology.

Advantages of the program: Graduates of the program are accepted to clinical internships in a wide range of recognized frameworks. Some graduates have been accepted to doctoral studies.
About the field: Clinical psychology deals with defining and identifying mental problems and treating them. It includes scientific research and the application of an array of disciplines in psychology in order to prevent and ease distress or psychological dysfunction and also to understand and advance personal development and optimal quality of life.

Goals of the program:

To educate a new generation of clinical psychologists who are introduced academically and clinically to an integrative, developmental, multicultural, and empirically supported approach.
To educate psychologists who can develop the Israeli public health service and implement innovative programs in it that are suitable for treating different sectors in Israeli society.
