The academic programs that the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Ruppin Academic Center offers combine theory and practice and combine wide-ranging, general knowledge with a rich selection of majors – in finance, accounting, marketing, human resource management and organizational consulting, information systems management, and business innovation – in a friendly atmosphere characterized by the direct connection between the Faculty’s faculty and administrative staff and the students.

The Department of Business Administration along with the Faculty of Management & Economics plan to offer BA and MBA students the opportunity to gain knowledge of East Asian business management, economy, and organizational culture.

Business relations with Asian corporations are becoming an important part of the Israeli economy. Yet most business administration programs in Israel still focus on western experience, ideas, and theories. We believe that this cultural bias produces students and businessmen with a distorted view of markets and opportunities. We are now creating a program of studies that will introduce students to East Asian economies, cultures and practices, with a special focus on Japan and South Korea. We are certain that this will not only give our graduates an advantage in seeking jobs but will also make them instrumental in tightening relations between Israel and East Asian partners.

We seek to collaborate with academic programs and institutions focusing on East Asian business and economics, in and out of Asia. This cooperation can be targeted to academic program development as well as to comparative research in these fields. We are also interested in cooperation with Japanese companies and in organizing mutual study visits and internships for our students.
