פרופ' נונה קושנירוביץ' היא ראש רשות המחקר של המרכז האקדמי רופין. בעבר פרופ' קושנירוביץ' כיהנה כראש המחלקה לכלכלה ומנהל וראש התחום ללימודי כלכלה במרכז האקדמי רופין. לנונה יותר מ-50 מאמרים בכתבי עת אקדמיים, היא חברה במערכות עריכה של שני כתבי עת אקדמיים בינלאומיים, וגם חברה במועצת האגודה הישראלית לכלכלה. כמו כן, פרופ' נונה קושנירוביץ' הייתה העורכת הראשית של השנתון הסטטיסטי להגירה בישראל. היא זכתה ב-14 מענקי מחקר מקרנות שונות (בתור PI). בשנת 2010 נונה זכתה בפרס הוכרה למדענים עולים מצטיינים על תרומתם למדינת ישראל. כמו כן שימשה כחברה בוועדה המייעצת לממונה על זכויות עובדים זרים במשרד הכלכלה והתעשייה.
